Reason why Valentino Rossi keeps falling..!

Last 3 Race Weekends have been nothing less than distaster/heartbreaks for Yellow Army and Valentino Rossi alike. While The Doctor seemed pretty confident on Saturday's, he crashed on Sunday's. But the question that arises here is why so frequent falls? Simon Patterson has given pretty good analysis about it. Have a read. Since his return to Yamaha in 2013, Valentino Rossi has built a new style of MotoGP career for himself, challenging at the front of the championship not through outright speed but through consistency and being close to podium contention nearly every weekend. In fact, that consistency has become such a Rossi trait that it almost handed him his last championship success in 2015 – a year where he took four wins to Jorge Lorenzo’s seven and Marc Marquez’s five but managed to keep the fight going until the final round. However, that reliable form has deserted him in recent rounds this year, with Sunday’s crash out of the French Grand Prix marking his third DNF in t...

Why Valentino Rossi is still so loved?

MotoGP is the best Motorcycle racing event and one of the best Racing events overall, challenged only by Formula 1. It consists of many races, usually about 18, in different parts of the world. Yet, where ever you go, irrespective of country, region etc, you will find one Color and one Number everywhere. What is so special about "The Doctor" that he has become synonymous with MotoGP itself for hundreds of thousands of Fans worldwide? 1. S...

The Story Behind So Less Records Being Broken in MotoGP these days

MotoGP, the fastest 2 wheel sport in the world, is facing a real problem in last few years, LACK OF NEW RECORDS.   Not that the riders are not of that caliber any more, obviously we have Marc Marquez, Maverik Vinales, Quartarao, Pol and Valentino Rossi, the Doctor on the track, so what has changed?  Michelin became the Tyre supplier in MotoGP in 2016 and still Bridgestone has track records for about half of the tracks on the calendar.  Michelin has race records at Jerez, Le Mans, Losail, Misano, Mugello, Sachsenring, Sepang and Valencia. Bridgestone holds race records at Aragon, Assen, Brno, COTA, Motegi, Phillip Island and Termas. In a sport like MotoGP where technology is advancing at such fast pace, five years is really a very long time to keep your records. So what is the reason for that?  2 major reasons I can think of: Firstly, Michelin Tyres, although Michelin’s front slick precedes its rear slick whenever MotoGP riders take to the track, in terms of performan...

This season has been a Roller-Coaster ride for Riders and Fans likewise, with 4 different race winners in 5 races so far and Fabio Quartararo, Miguel Olivera, Brad Binder and KTM winning their First ever Top spots in MotoGP, it seems like no one can predict what future has in store for the Championship this year. Lets take a look at current standings and see who are the favorites this season as per their current performances. 1. Fabio Quartararo Wins: 2 Podiums: 2 Fabio Quartararo got off to a perfect start by claiming his and Petronas Yamaha’s first two MotoGP victories at Jerez. But a downward trend of 7th, 8th and 13th places since has eroded his title advantage to just 3 points. Clearly capable of more race wins if the Yamaha package is performing as he needs, the upcoming Misano double header could prove pivotal in terms of his chances of a historic satellite team title....
