MediaTek Dimensity 1200 and 1100 5G 6nm architecture-based mobile SoCs announced

Realme will be among the first OEMs to launch a phone with the new Dimensity 1200. Until today, the entire Dimensity series was fabbed on a 7nm process, but that just changed – the Dimensity 1200 and 1100 are MediaTek’s first 6nm chipsets. And they are the first to use the Cortex-A78 core. The two are based on the same raw hardware, but target slightly different bins. The Dimensity 1200 is the premium offering. Its CPU has a 1+3+4 configuration with a A78 core is running at 3.0GHz, plus three more A78 cores at 2.6GHz and the usual quartet of power-efficient A55 cores running at 2.0GHz. For comparison, the Dimensity 1000+ used an older A77 core that topped out at 2.6GHz. These numbers line up just right with ARM's official estimates - a 3.0GHz A78 is 20% faster than a 2.6GHz A77. That's for single-threaded performance, of course, as only one core in each chipset reaches those frequencies. Overall CPU performance is up by 22% and power efficiency is up 25% compared to previous ge

"That was the most shocking event of my life and Valentino helped me. For me he is more like an uncle, he helped me, taught me, and inspired me. I think I can fight for the title" Submitted by Marco Caregnato in gpone.com Franco Morbidelli has made a strong comeback in the fight for the MotoGP title thanks to his victory in the Teruel Grand Prix but above all thanks to his consistency throughout the season. Yet despite these three zeros that did not depend on his mistakes, Morbidelli is 25 points behind Joan Mir and with three races remaining he is still able to think about the title. Until Covid-19 vaccine arrives, nitric oxide can cure patients, save lives | Study

A recent study has found that nitric oxide, a cell-signaling molecule that the body produces naturally, could be a potential treatment for coronavirus infection until a vaccine arrives. There is no specific medicine or drug formula that checks the spread of SARS-CoV-2. The only antiviral treatment currently approved is giving doses of remdesivir to Covid-19 patients requiring hospitalisation. Remdesivir was originally developed for treatment of Ebola, another virus-generated infectious illness. It was understood to shorten the recovery time of hospitalised Covid-19 patients. However, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has now said remdesivir neither shortens the stay of Covid-19 patients in hospital nor reduces the mortality among those infected by SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. This is discouraging news for the world, which is finding it difficult to get beyond this debilitating virus. However, a recent study has found a new solution that can be as effective as an antiviral treatment for Co
