Why Valentino Rossi is still so loved?

MotoGP is the best Motorcycle racing event and one of the best Racing events overall, challenged only by Formula 1. It consists of many races, usually about 18, in different parts of the world. Yet, where ever you go, irrespective of country, region etc, you will find one Color and one Number everywhere. The sea of Yellow Flags and number 46, has been around in MotoGP from the time I have been watching it. If you already don't know what or who I am talking about, probably you don't know anything about MotoGP at all. Just to make you aware, both these belong to 9 times World Champion, Valentino Rossi. MotoGP has seen some very fine Riders in recent past like Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa, Casey Stoner and of course, Marc Marquez but still no one has been able to find that huge love and support from followers and fans all over the Globe. What is so special about "The Doctor" that he has become synonymous with MotoGP itself for hundreds of thousands of Fans worldwide? 1. S...

Some Lesser Known Facts about Modi ji..!

Let's take a look at some of the least known interesting incidents from Modi ji's life..! Decades back, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh asked Modiji to join Congress.  Ramesh said " Mr Modi, if you'd like to leave BJP, then there's a vacancy for you in Congress". But Modiji declined it with a classic reply! Modi ji replied " You'll face lots of problems, I am from Sangh parivar. The way you are dividing, perhaps you will have to answer this". This proved two things: * Decades back too, Congress party knew the calibre of Modiji * Modiji never compromised with his ethics. ********************************************************************************************************** In 2001, Atal ji called Modi ji & asked "Where are you?" Modiji replied "I am in Smashaan" Atal ji said " If you say you are in Smashaan, then what shall I tell ", And then Atal ji asked the reason for his visit to the graveyard! Modiji replied...

The Story Behind So Less Records Being Broken in MotoGP these days

MotoGP, the fastest 2 wheel sport in the world, is facing a real problem in last few years, LACK OF NEW RECORDS.   Not that the riders are not of that caliber any more, obviously we have Marc Marquez, Maverik Vinales, Quartarao, Pol and Valentino Rossi, the Doctor on the track, so what has changed?  Michelin became the Tyre supplier in MotoGP in 2016 and still Bridgestone has track records for about half of the tracks on the calendar.  Michelin has race records at Jerez, Le Mans, Losail, Misano, Mugello, Sachsenring, Sepang and Valencia. Bridgestone holds race records at Aragon, Assen, Brno, COTA, Motegi, Phillip Island and Termas. In a sport like MotoGP where technology is advancing at such fast pace, five years is really a very long time to keep your records. So what is the reason for that?  2 major reasons I can think of: Firstly, Michelin Tyres, although Michelin’s front slick precedes its rear slick whenever MotoGP riders take to the track, in terms of performan...

Dovi: ‘2020 MotoGP season would be just as open with Marc Marquez racing’

Andrea Dovizioso believes absent champion Marc Marquez would have struggled for consistency in the 2020 MotoGP World Championship season. Andrea Dovizioso has dismissed the notion the 2020 MotoGP World Championship is suffering without the presence of its dominant champion Marc Marquez, speculating he may have struggled just as much to be consistent. The Spaniard’s absence following an injury in round one will see a new MotoGP World Champion crowned in 2020, but no favourite has emerged from the opening five rounds with four different winners thus far, including three first-time winners. With Fabio Quartararo and Dovizioso enduring fluctuating fortunes this year so far, Marquez himself has questioned which rider will have the consistency to mount a convincing title challenge. However, Desmo Dovi believes the changes to the tyre regulations are the primary reason for the unpredictable form sheet at the moment, which he thinks would have hampered Marquez on the Repsol Honda as much as hi...
